The Mississippi Junior Duck Stamp Art Competition!   Competition entries are due March 15, 2016. This annual art competition is for schools and organizations across the state.

The program is similar to the Federal Duck Stamp program. It encourages students to explore their natural world, invites them to investigate biology and wildlife management principles, and challenges them to express and share what they have learned with others by drawing or painting a picture of an eligible North American waterfowl species. The submitted artwork is judged at the state level; state winners are judged nationally to select one image for use on the 2016-2017 Junior Duck Stamp.

Junior Duck Stamps are sold nationally. Revenue goes to support recognition and environmental education activities for students who participate in the program.
