Philip Mba Wright is a STEM to STEAM teaching artist and Boy Scout Executive.  He has developed an interactive Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math program series to prepare students for tomorrow’s careers and to build leadership skills. His work with educators, community leaders, and students extends throughout Mississippi, Georgia, and Oklahoma.  His lessons are designed to boost and sustain student engagement and interest in math, physics, computer science, and music using hands-on activities with Sphero, a robot ball.   Philip is married to computer scientist Amy Thornton, and they have one son, D.J.
