Rick Anderson is a nationally acclaimed visual artist whose career has spanned more than 50 years. A native of Clarksdale in the Mississippi Delta, he nurtured a passion for art from an early age. He holds a Master of Arts in Education degree from Delta State University and taught art, K-12, for twenty-five years in Mississippi public schools. He has also been an adjunct art educator at Copiah-Lincoln CC, the University of Southern MS, and Mississippi College.  Rick currently travels throughout the United States and Europe bringing art and literacy to kids through school visits. He also conducts art workshops to both professional and amateur artists.  Rick continues to exhibit at juried art festivals, and is represented by four art galleries in several states.
